A Fairy Story

A wee bit while ago, as I was sitting at my computer working on one of my novels, I happen to see a little face pop around the corner of the  room. The little face belonged to a  person who was no taller than three inches in height. You can imagine my surprise at having seen something so completely unexpected.  Who ever would have thought that little fairy's actually exist? She was dressed in a shimmering pink gown with matching  pointed little slippers and was quite pixiesh in looks. She stopped just short of stepping into the room, seemingly suspended in shock at having seen me sitting there. Her green eyes were wide, her cheeks pink and her mouth formed a perfect o as she stood there and looked at me. Her pointed little ears peeked through her mass of golden curls and her chest heaved with deep breaths as she seemingly tried her best to get over her shock at having seen me. Then she grinned, the corners of her mouth tilting ever so slightly, sprinkled some sort of shimmering dust into the air, then in the blink of an eye, she was gone.
I questioned myself thoroughly over what I had just seen and became convinced that it had been real and not a figment of my imagination, so I decided to do something to entice her to come back. I decided to make her a fairy door hoping that if she see's that I made a little door just for her, it will encourage her to come and visit me whenever she likes. The fairy door is one of a kind. It's hand scuplted in polymer clay and it's just waiting to welcome in some  tiny little friends.
