Even more Fairy Doors
These were made for a farmgirl friend over at MaryJanes. I sure hope she likes them. I love the colors. As far as I am concerned, you can't go wrong with anything pink!!

Three More Fairy Doors
I made these three doors for a farmgirl sister over at MaryJanes. I put a lot of work into these and I am keeping my fingers crossed that she likes them. So, I guess that means that maybe I am taking orders?? :-} Awesome!! This is going to be so much fun. I can do special orders and all kinds of other things.

A New Fairy Door
I wasn't sure how this one was going to come out. I made the base then thought...hmm, I don't know about this one. I have to confess that I was completely surprised and very happy. I love how it came out.

Fairy Doors
I am having so much fun working on these Fairy Doors. Each one is hand made and one of a kind. Now, if I could only find a place to sell them. I'm still thinking of opening up an Etsy store, but I haven't decided if I am going to yet or not. I do know that I am going to continue to work in the clay making the Fairy Doors and other things. I love taking a lump of clay and challenging myself to see what I can make with it.

A Fairy Story
A wee bit while ago, as I was sitting at my computer working on one of my novels, I happen to see a little face pop around the corner of the room. The little face belonged to a person who was no taller than three inches in height. You can imagine my surprise at having seen something so completely unexpected. Who ever would have thought that little fairy's actually exist? She was dressed in a shimmering pink gown with matching pointed little slippers and was quite pixiesh in looks. She stopped just short of stepping into the room, seemingly suspended in shock at having seen me sitting there. Her green eyes were wide, her cheeks pink and her mouth formed a perfect o as she stood there and looked at me. Her pointed little ears peeked through her mass of golden curls and her chest heaved with deep breaths as she seemingly tried her best to get over her shock at having seen me. Then she grinned, the corners of her mouth tilting ever so slightly, sprinkled some sort of shimmering dust into the air, then in the blink of an eye, she was gone.
I questioned myself thoroughly over what I had just seen and became convinced that it had been real and not a figment of my imagination, so I decided to do something to entice her to come back. I decided to make her a fairy door hoping that if she see's that I made a little door just for her, it will encourage her to come and visit me whenever she likes. The fairy door is one of a kind. It's hand scuplted in polymer clay and it's just waiting to welcome in some tiny little friends.

Thinking of starting an Etsy store.
Oh goodness, the clay bug has struck again. I love working in polymer clay. I've been working with it on and off for years. I stopped for a while because I was making things, then I didn't know what to do with them. You can only keep and give away so many! I just started sculpting in it again and I am having a ball creating little critters. If I keep this up, the critters are going to be taking over my house, lol!! Then I started to think....maybe, just maybe, I might be able to sell them...but how? Then I thought about Etsy. I'm really nervous to even try it, but I was telling myself that you will never know if you never try. So...I bought a few books and I am doing my research on how to sell on Etsty and I am thinking about it. What would help me tremendously, is if anyone see's this, if you could please leave a comment about my critters and if you think that they would sell. I would appreciate it so very much. Thanks a bunch everyone. Take care.

ClaraBelle
My fingers were itching to sculpt in clay again, but my brain and said fingers would not co-operate on the little doll sitting on the box that I have yet to finish. (see previous post) So I put that away for a while and decided to make something else. I love making little figures and I wanted to make something cute and cheerful. So, I went through my books and came across this darling little clown, who I named, ClaraBelle. She took me around two and a half hours to make and she sure did come out cute! She is now sitting on my Wii in my crafting room.
